EDUROAM WIRELESS ACCESS

The "eduroam" service allows any member of an institution participating in the project (academic or research institution) to connect to the secure wireless network "eduroam" on any partner institution’s site, using their original credentials (username and password) without any prior administrative intervention. This service is available for holders of user identification parameters of their home institution granting access to the EDUROAM network.

To setup your equipment

Download the configuration profile according to your profile and your operating system
CAUTION: If you are a professor, choose the professor profile even if you are staff too

Install the profile by clicking on the downloaded file. During installation. You will be prompted to: :
1. Accept certificates
2. Enter your username (see table below)
3. Enter your password

What is my user name?

For professors and students, the form is B00XXXXX@essec.edu
For staff, the form is identifier@essec.fr, the identifier being your usual username to open your windows session

Caution : your username is not necessarily your email address.

SERVICES AVAILABLE VIA EDUROAM

You will be able to access the Internet (access subject to the filtering policy in use at ESSEC) and you will have the same services available to you that you normally use via the "WiFi ESSEC" SSID.

USERS OF OTHER INTITUTIONS

You will be able to access the network using your installed configurations. To install a configuration of a third party institution, consult the guidelines of your institution.
